We had a wonderful vacation in July 2004 in Glacier National Park, Montana. We enjoyed the pleasure of the company of the Pojes - Jim and Sandy, Nadine, Sally and John + Grandfolks Mary and Warren. The Johnsons - Andrew and Penny, Lizzie, Alice and Angus.

We travelled by train from San Jose to East Glacier Park, Montana - 2 nights and 1 day. We stayed for 3 nights in Many Glacier Hotel, 3 nights in Apgar Village and 2 nights at Sperry Chalet.

One of the best holidays we've ever had - thanks guys for your splendid company.

When we arrived in East Glacier we collected our luggage and hire cars and then went to visit the amazing East Glacier Lodge Hotel which is just beside the station. Very grand and palatial hotel. John played the piano. Then I had buffulo for lunch for the first time - seemed much the same as beef to me. Then we drove to the Many Glacier hotel where we're going to stay for a few days. The desk clerk Adam was from Ardrossan! Ali and the others went for a mini-hike and I had a sleep. In the evening there was a lecture about Lewis and Clerk. A really nice day.
