Leslie and Nigel Nauth's visit to California - Aug 2004

We enjoyed a visit from Leslie and Nigel Nauth. Ali and Leslie were at Strathclyde University together and we've remained in touch ever since. This was the Nauth's second trip to the States - having done Florida about 10 years ago.

They came for almost 3 weeks. They stayed with us for a few days then went off on a bus trip to Yosemite California, Las Vegas Nevada, the Grand Canyon Arizona, Bryce Canyon Utah, and back via Los Angeles, Santa Maria, Monterey to San Francisco California. Quite a trip. On the bus trip they were joined by their daughters Kirsty and Caroline. Leslie and Nigel spent another few days with us before returning to England.

While they were with us, they did our usual places. 17 mile drive and highway 1. Golden Gate Bridge and Marin County. San Juan Bautista and the Santa Cruz Mountains - and of course the mystery spot. All jolly good fun - although California delivered even more fog than usual. Oh well there'll be another occasion.

Its a mystery

Who's taller

Bizzare

Crooked house

Drives you up the wall

Well all fall down

Still hanging about

Who's taller then

Or are you taller than me
