Wedding Reception - August 6, 2005

These are photographs of the reception.
The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the wonderful view of the Surrey Downs from Frensham Heights. The guests were entertained by
Steve Abbott cutting their profiles which were pasted in a book for the Alan and Jen to keep. We were also entertained by a string duo - Two Cellos. In the evening Lost Boys Party Band played 1960 and 70's music. Lots of dancing. Of course we had dinner and speeches. I wrote and read a poem to mark the occasion. A Perfect Day.
One of the really nice parts of the wedding was the timing. By being at the early start of 12 noon, it was about 2pm by the time we arrived at Frensham. A couple of hours were spent in the grounds before the reception of the guests and dinner. After dinner were able to enjoy talking in the garden to our friends, family and neighbours before the dancing in the evening. The weather allowed us to really enjoy the venue and the time with our closest chums. Wonderful.
Most of these photographs were taken by David Innes using my Canon Digital Rebel SLR. David is a friend of Alan and a guest at the wedding. Thank you, David.
