Iceland Bus Tour - August 12, 2005

Stopover in Iceland (3 of 4) :

While we were in Iceland, we decided to take a one day bus tour "The Golden Circle". It was really good. We had beautiful weather and the tour guide was a very charming Icelandic gentleman called "Bragi". In the morning we visited the geo-thermal power plant, the site of the first Icelandic Parliament and the waterfall at Gullfoss. After lunch we visited the geysers, another waterfall, the principal church of Iceland, a volcanic crater and the greenhouse village where flowers and vegetables are grown.

If you're lucky enough to go to Iceland, this is a "must do" tour. It was really interesting and the scenery is beautiful. Tour operator was Iceland Excursions
