Reception - September 9, 2006

Natalie and Neil's Wedding (4 of 5) :

The reception took place at "La Grande Mare" Golf and Country Club. It was really nice. Of course the weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy food and Champagne while the wedding photos were taken. And of course we were received individually by the bridal party before sitting down in the marquee to a splendid dinner. We enjoyed the company of the Kelly family and Hugh and Marie. Ali and I have known all those folks for the last 25 years. It's been a while since we've seen Rachael and her husband and children. Gosh they've been married 8 years now. Time flies. The dinner was followed by the cutting of the cake, the giving of gifts and the speeches from the top table. The wedding had a large cast of Bridesmaids, Page Boys, Flower Girls, Ushers and the Groom's Parents and Best Man. - all of whom received gifts from the Bride and Groom. Of course the largest cheers were given to the hosts of the wedding - Natalie's Parents, Lonia and Peter. I'm sure Lonia has been busy for months (possibly years) to get everything ready for the big day. As well as all the marvellous food and drinks, the tables were beautifully decorared with flowers and favours for all the guests. We were entertained during dinner by the Mariposa String Quartet.
