Bills Birthday - Jan 13, 2007

Bill is a good friend and fellow Strider. Bill was 65 on January 11, 2007. Happy Birthday, Bill. Peggy and Penny organized a "surprise" birthday party for Bill and there was a great turnout of Striders to wish Bill all the best. It was really nice. A huge "Thank You" to Peggy and Penny for the work and effort to make this happen. We had a pot-luck dinner - so lots of things to eat and drink. Ali made lamb-curry with potatoes and rice. However there are a great selection of food including stew, sushi, cakes, fruit pies, salad and so on. A banquet. As always, Andrew did a great job in the kitchen fixing drinks. Andrew's alcohol-free margarita is just fantastic. So thanks everybody for a very nice evening. And congratulations to Bill. Bill, you're inspirational. You run like a guy 20 years younger that you.
