Fremont Walk - July 12, 2009

We went for a walk in Fremont on the salt marshes near the office. Well, we went to the office to get my laptop because I wanted to do some work on it at home. So we decided to have a walk while we were there. I've done this trail a couple of times at lunch-time and wanted Ali to see where it goes.

I've found this trail rather too long for a lunch-time run. It's almost 6 miles and there's no way to shorten it. I'd also forgotton about the smell. I don't know if it's the salt, sewage, stagnant water or rotting vegetable matter - whatever it's horrible. However I've recently started running about 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back on the trail at lunch-time with one of the marketing ladies. This is much better. Not so far, pleasant company, no smell and doesn't take too long and leave me tired in the afternoon.

In fact, I think the main point of these photographs is to remind never to run all the way round that trail again! However I look forward to the short runs several days a week with Jana.
