Halloween 2009

A really great weekend. Ali's still in England visiting the family. A weekend in many parts.

I bought a new laptop and it arrived on the Thursday evening. It runs Windows 7 and I also loaded the brand new Ubuntu 9.10 into Virtual Box. The machine's great. Fast and Smooth.

On Friday evening, Dennis and Terri had me over for dinner. No photos from that.

Saturday night was both Halloween and Full Moon. I went to Oakland for dinner with my friend Gaylord and his son and daughter Robin and Michele. This was a "Thank You" to Michele for getting us Theatre Tickets on many occasions. Thank You, Michele.

And on Sunday there was a joint birthday party for Jim and Angus. Jim was 50 last weekened. Angus will be 9 this week. We went to play mini-golf and had lots of fun. Penny called it "Tee off in Tartan" with the idea that everybody was to hear a kilt - or something Scottish. I wore mk kilt of course and Jim wore his Sportskilt that I gave him as a birthday gift.

Penny had everybody over for dinner and cake'n'candles after the golf. It was a wonderful as always. Thank you Penny for a great afternoon and evening.
