Birthday at Joan's - Jan 17, 2010

59 this year. Oh dear! Next year will be six-oh! Crumbs. How did this happen?

My Adobe buddy Joan had us over for dinner and Robert & Geri and Andrew & Penny were the guests. A wonderful Chinese meal followed by Chinese Tea Tasting. I can't think of a nicer way to spend a birthday. Thanks everybody. Ali and I love you all.

I've got to say that I'm very happy with life. I love my wife, my kids, my grandchildren and my friends. Life's great and there are more adventures waiting in the future.

We also attended a concert on Saturday Jan 16 by Shauna and Colyn, two wonderful musicians. They performed songs of Robert Burns and I was invited to introduce and read some poems in my authentic Ayrshire accent. No photos.

We also had dinner with Michelle, Gustavo and Jonas on my birthday - Jan 18, 2010. Again no photos. Thanks guys for your company.
