June Weekend

I ran in a Half Marathon in San Jose. I hoped to do 1:50-1:55. Achieved 1:59. It was quite a hot June morning. Could do better.

Michelle was running Skyline to the Sea and back. 30 miles each way. I asked Penny to pace Michelle up the hill because I didn't like the idea of Michelle running through the forest in the dark on her own. It's 20 miles and they did it in 5 hours. Very good going at the end of 60 miles. Maritza came and ran 11 of the miles and the biggest climbs on the trail. Well done everybody. A special "You're amazing" to Michelle. She breaks her previous longest run of 50 miles in preparation for the Marin Headlands 100 in September.
