We had a really great weekend at the Big Sur International Marathon on the weekend of April 25/26, 2009. My buddy Michelle came with us and ran so fast that we don't have a photo of her. I ran slowly, took lots of photos and stoped at mile 13.1 - the half way point on Bixby Bridge. Well done, Michelle. And well done Penny and Bob who also completed the very demanding 26.2 mile course into a head wind. Good Job, guys.

Well we've nothing planned until Memorial Weekend at the end of May when we'll go to Claudia's for the Western States Training Weekend. That's always very relaxing. I feel going to the Sierras are my home from home. Claudia's Bed and Breakfast Lodge is one my most favorite places in the whole world. I'm loosing count now - we might have been there 10 times.

We're planning a vacation in 2009 with the 'holiday gang' to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Wyoming. This will be either July or August - we're still in the planning process at this time. And gosh, with the state of the economy, I'm rather doubtful if this will happen. We'll see.
