Driving to Aid Stations

From Pan Toll to Bolinas Fairfax Road

Exit Pan Toll parking lot back toward Mill Valley and take an immediate upper left onto West Ridgecrest Road. Follow Ridgecrest for about 7 miles to Bolinas-Fairfax Road. Parking is tight here, but at least it's free. Note: the runners will actually come out onto this road for about 100 yards about halfway between Pan Toll and Bolinas Ridge aid stations. It is okay to crew your runner here, although there's almost no place to park.

The Course

Outward Bound

Pan Toll (21.7) to Bolinas-Fairfax Road (28.4)

Run to the upper parking lot, turn Left and cross Panoramic Highway to Coastal Trail. Follow Coastal to junction of Matt Davis - ~1.4 miles. STAY on Coastal and follow it for another 1.6 miles to another trail junction. STAY on Coastal till it leads you onto Ridgecrest Road. Run North along the road for .08 miles and join up with the trail again on the left. Stay on Coastal to Bolinas-Fairfax Road crossing.

Homeward Bound

Bolinas-Fairfax Road (42.8) to Pan Toll (49.5)

Retrace your way back on Coastal Trail/Ridgecrest Road/Coastal ~6.56 miles to Pan Toll. Take care crossing the road (those quads are a little more tired than on the trip out) and running through the upper parking lot to the lower lot aid station.
